​West Heights offers many extra-curricular activities for our students: 

Leadership Club: Heriot and Davies, Monday at Lunch for students in Gr 4 and up

Chess club: Tuesday and Thursday for Gr 4-6 students with Ms. Sigurdson at lunch

Art club: Thursday at lunch for students Gr 2-6 with Librarian Ms. Dalton

Rainbow Club: A club for celebrating all people, K-6, Tuesday at Lunch (Ms. R and Ms. Curror)

Indigenous Boys Club: Tuesday afternoons until February with Chief Johnny Williams

Punjabi Club: Wednesday at lunch with Mr. Chahal and Ms. Grewal

Running Club: Thursday morning at 7:50 am with Ms. Nicole

Basketball: 2 lunch hours a week + Thursday games – coaches Matt Flury and Ms. Sigurdson

Drumming Club: Friday at lunch with Ms. Nicole H

Drama Club: on occasion with Mrs. Magon, starting after Christmas on Wednesdays (Gr 5 & 6 students)

Lunch Friendship Club: Mondays and Thursdays at lunch with Ms. Curror or Ms. Sandy

Athletics to come: Volleyball, additional basketball training, track and field + more
