Wednesday April 24 at 10:30am on intermediate field at West Heights

Format:

Teams consist of 6 players on the field at a time, with one goalie, 2 defensive players and 3 offensive players.  We will be playing a no-contact version with a soft ball, so that kids get a chance to be introduced to the strategy, skills, speed and fun of sixes lacrosse.  Box lacrosse and field lacrosse require more protective equipment due to the physical nature of play.  In our version of sixes lacrosse, players will be wearing a helmet and gloves.  Their sticks have been loaned to us by the British Columbia Lacrosse Association.  Players are encouraged to bring their own equipment to school if they have it, otherwise we are asking for donations/borrowing community equipment.

If your child hasn't brought back a signed permission form already, please ensure they do.  If you need another copy, please see Carol at the office.
