TRACK & FIELD

May 9th & 10th.

It was a fabulous 2  days at the annual grade 5/6 track and field meet at Albert McMahon . The sun was a balmy 24 degrees and not a cloud in the sky. All athletes did an amazing job in team spirit and trying their best. 

Some of the highlights included Kyia Satchell  winning the grueling 1600 meter and the grade 6 girls relay team ( Teagan “Dash" Durante ,Alexis “Blur “ Bury, Kyia “Speedster" Satchell and Hailey “Maximum Speed"  Macmillan) tore up the track by winning the gold medal in the 4x100 relay. 

All other relay teams were top 5 finishers. Waylon “Cheetah Speed"  Berkey was the top finisher in the 400 meters and placed 7th in high jump .All athletes displayed good sportsmanship and team enthusiasm.
